Babylonian faith refers to the religious beliefs and practices of the ancient Babylonian people, who lived in the region of Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq) from around 1894 BC to 539 BC. Their faith was polytheistic, meaning they worshipped multiple gods and goddesses, each associated with different aspects of life such as the sun, moon, and fertility. The Babylonians believed in the existence of an afterlife and practiced rituals and sacrifices to appease their deities and ensure their favor. Their religious texts, such as the Epic of Gilgamesh, provide insight into their beliefs and mythology. **

People are saved by faith, not by works. According to Christian belief, salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the savior of humanity. This faith is not based on our own efforts or good deeds, but on the grace of God. While good works are important as a reflection of one's faith, they are not the basis for salvation. This belief is central to the doctrine of justification by faith in many Christian traditions. **
